Apoteosi was one of those groups comprised of unknown, although capable and skilled musicians, even though they conceived music which was extremely interesting. Perhaps they were penalized by their label and by the fact that their album came out in a period (1975) when Italian progressive music was on the decline. As stated in the original album's liner notes, the music is very "fragmented". This album, in fact, alternated musical "pauses" with fabulous instrumental passages, which were very close to PFM in style. This Apoteosi record should be owned by any devotee of Italian progressive music even if the presence of a good male voice is sadly missed here.
